Have you ever made money completing surveys?

I've come across this topic a lot on the net. I know that I was scammed once but I also know I have made money doing surveys. Not heaps but some decent pocket money.
What are your experiences?

I once worked for a company that actually sent people out to do surveys and also mystery shopping. The money is ok. I had most of my family members hooked on mystery shopping. depending on the store, you could get paid pretty good.

I'm a member of a mystery shopper company, but no luck yet. All in good time.

i haven't made a lot of cash, but i've earnt £20 in amazon vouchers in the last month, which isn't bad simply for answering a few surveys

The only way to make any decent money is to join heaps of survey companies. This way you have more chances of getting a survey.
