*Shaving* Yes, that's right, and no i'm not only talking about the innapropriate areas, though i guess those are included, I'm talking Legs *women* (unless you men do it too?* and arm pits and faces *hopefully just men* and whatever else you so chose to shave. Here's the thing, I shaved my legs again today, OMG THE ITCH!! I hate razers, i hate em, but i'm very sensitive to the waxes and hair removal creams and such and ugh, i just don't like the itch, i'm stuck with shaving until i decide i'm man enough *hehe* to go get lazer surgery done haha... How many of you get really itchy when you shave? Is there something you use to soothe it? I use 2 lotions, first i use a jasmine lotion with chamomile and aloe, and then later on in the day i go to a moisture therapy lotion to just soothe the after effects. I'd love to know your way of getting rid of the itch if you do have it, might make for an interesting *hopefully UN-Deleted Discussion* have fun with this one if you want guys, but i like serious responses too, not always though.

I use a product called Skintimate Aftershave gel, than apply lotion to combat the itchiness I get after shaving. Thank goodness I have found a combination that has worked for me, cause I would really cringe when came time to shave again. Maybe it will help you.

LOL! I'm sure my husband could sympathize with yours, until I ended up getting my own mach 3 razor and aftershave, I was using my husbands. I laughed so hard when he finally realized why he was going through so much aftershave. I tried not to laugh, but it was so hard not to.

HAHAHA Omg that's soooooooooo funny!!! Okay get this, He couldn't figure out why his razor was going so dull so fast, so i blamed it on his facial fur, said maybe it's too grindy for the razor but it's not for me so keep it on hahaha, so then he started using one of those clippers sets, you know the ones they use for cutting down your hair at the salon and the ones they use on pets at the groomers? well haha he decided he would use that to cut it to the face and then shave with his razor, haha then one day he was like, it's not working, then he thought our friend was using his razor, well i just couldn't stop laughing, it was so hard!!! So that's when he realized it was me. Well he now buys me one of the same razor he uses every time he gets a new one for himself, and always the refills too if he gets them, but he still gets confused at times as to why his razor goes so dull so fast, but what he doesn't realize is that you use 2 of the same identical razor and put them together every time you use them without marking them, their gonna both be used by each of us hahaha... Men... haha, i'll never stop laughing at the things he does sometimes ;) even just tonight he asked me if i used his razor, cause i shaved, haha, i was like umm, no, i used mine, it just looks like yours haha... oh that man is so cute sometimes. gonna be funny when he see's i'm using his aftershave stuff too haha, i can't stand the women's shave creams so i tried his one day and loved it, so i started using it for a couple of months, that was a funny time, he thought he was growing hair too fast and forgetting he already shaved that day and stuff, totally thought he was losing it, till i told him in a rash of giggles, i have so much fun picking on the man haha.

This is the kinda stuff I live for. Ice water kills razor burn before it starts. Here's how: put a cup of ice water within reaching distance of the steamy shower with your razor in it while you wash your hair or whatever. Keep dunking the razor between shaves then soap up again after shaving to keep any stubs or skin bits from irritating your freshly shaved skin. In more prone areas, swab with astringent before applying lotion after drying off thoroughly.

Heres hoping!LOL I must admit I dont get itchy after I shave. I think it has to do with the shaving lotion you use. And after your done shaving always apply skin lotion. And you shouldnt have a problem anymore! Hows that?

If you have dry skin, I would suggest using a shaving GEL that has conditioners in it for dry skin. That's what I have to use, and after shaving or bathing, apply a good skin lotion, not the cheapie versions, they do not work and waste your money. Buy you a good brand and use it regualarly. Hopefully this will help you. Also I have heard that if you increase the amount of water you drink everyday, that it will moisturize the skin more.

Thanks hun, one person earlier suggested aftershave gel and that's one of the few things that i haven't tried, so i'm definitely going to give that a shot, as well as some of the other ideas here that i have never come across, i already use skin lotions, though their not lotions as much as creams - their really awesome, and i use them both daily, but still to no avail, there's still that itching... thanks so much :)

i put lotion with cooling effect after i shave my legs, so i feel the cooling effect of the lotion rather than the itch.
