Sweet Potato Pie Recipe

Tomorrow is my hubby's b'day and he wanted a sweet potato pie. Well, I bought a Mrs. Smith's sweet potato pie and baked it tonight and he was disappointed in it. He said it tasted sort of like a whip cream and not so much like the potato pie he was expecting. So, please if you have a good recipe for one that you have tried and know it is delicious please share it with me and I will be so grateful to you for it.

Sorry, I don't seem to be much help either. I'm not even quite sure what sweet potato pie is. Usually Mrs. Smith's pies are pretty good. Your hubby must be used to home cooking or something. But I have a friend who owns her own recipe so I will email her tonight and try to get back to you. Have a great Thursday evening.

Nothing beats homemade pies, and I happen to love making Sweet Potato Pie myself.. always make it for Thanksgiving. One of the best recipes I've come across is from Justin Wilson's cookbook. Here's the link to the site that has the recipe for it.
