What's You Favorite Amusement Park Ride?

I’m feeling bored and depressed and when I feel this way I start daydreaming about the wonderful trips I’ve been on and the fun things I’ve done. Since my last several vacations have been to Florida with the family, including my grandkids, my thoughts soon turned to some of the great rides we’ve been on at the different parks, both the parks in Florida and some closer to home. Who wants to chat with a middle-aged pre-teen about roller-coasters and water rides? I LOVE the Hulk (Universal) and the Rock’n’Roller Coaster (MGM, Disney World) and Dueling Dragons (Islands of Adventure). Shiekrah and Montu are just two of my favorites of the dozen or so coasters at Busch Gardens, Tampa.
I’m not just limited to roller-coasters…I also love the Tower of Terror and the Spiderman ride. I loved the Back to the Future ride but that’s been closed and my heart is broken! Anyone who thinks I’m too old for this kind of thing, think again…years ago my husband and I were at Busch Gardens riding Montu and there were hardly any people there so there was no line for the ride. An elderly man who was riding in the same row as we were told us to just stay on to ride again instead of going all the way around to reboard. He lived right in the Tampa area and he told us by the end of that month he’d take his 1000th ride; he was 75 years old! I hope that means I have a good 20 years of thrill rides left in me! OK, so what are your favorites and what good parks are near your home? Maybe your hometown will be my next vacation destination…got an extra bed?

I've been to several different amusement parks, but the one that I like the best is Cedar Point in Sandusky, OH. The best ride of all is the Millenium Force! Oh, it's definately made for speed! It's a longer ride than most roller coasters, too. The tears (from going so fast) just stream right out the corners. You should try it someday!

Yeah! When I am old and have more time-haha-I would like to join a roller coaster enthusiast club, too! I've checked them out, but it's unreal for me right now! Let me know when you go, I'll meet you there. It's about an hour from my home. We can ride it together.
I told my sister in law that the ride wasn't bad. She was so scared. Then on the way up the gigantic hill, she was beating the crap out of me! haha. But, after it was over, she loved it, and me again. It's definately a thrill!

I actually don't like the rides at amusement parks, I'm afraid of heights, but the one thing I will do is like the bumper cars :). My brother and I used to love those when we were younger. The only thing that's really close to here is Cedar Point and that's like 45-55 minutes away from me.
