Learning

We do learn something new every day if we keep learning and having discussions with our mylot friends because there are so many things to learn from all the discussions like what I have learnt from most of your discussions posted today.

It is very true that one can learn every day, every minute provided one has interest to learn. Though nothing is new under the sun, a lot of things are new to us. I am in the business of text processing in computer. I receive examination papers set by teachers to be set in the computer and I had to type the mathematics. My brother gave me a special soft ware to type mathematic equations with greeek and latin characters. Though way back in 1980 I learnt mathematics composition in electronic typewriter, the new software is entirely different and easier and I was able to learn in less than one hour. Tomorrow I might go in for chemistry forumulae and hexagon, octogan etc.

Actually,whether we can learn something new or not is all depend on ourselves. how to use the limited time in our limited life is all depend on ourselves.we can learn something new,this new contains something good of course also contain s something bad. we can learn the experience from the bad and good,that is what we called new. Every day I will learn my major ,and still I will read some books to enlarge my eye sight.these all the steps to face the future life. live a full life is always my aim. wish u can learn something from everyday of ur life.

hello, gradyslady! I know the saying and I believe it deeply. Everyday we learn new things. It may be several words and formulas from your textbook, some wonderful sentences from your favorit novels, the opinion on something from the person you loved and admired, or just a new thought from yourself... These are all new things we should learn, right? There is knowledge here and there in our life as long as we would like to learn.

I'm currently living and working in China, so the saying is true for me. Every day I make sure I learn at least a couple of new words. It's a very slow process, but at least I can order some food now without any help. I think it'll be a long time before I can actually have conversations with anyone though.

Yes I always say that...so I try to learn something new everyday... Today I learned that in average american eat 6.8 lb of strawberries a year...
