No judgement on my part about my past... In fairness, I am grateful because it made me a strong-willed and courageous individual. However, certain things and incidents makes me wonder sometimes why. I come from a broken home and my parents made many decisions that I know they regret very much. I will not get into details and to cut a long story short, my older brother got sick in the year 1999 and died the year following after. He was the merriest of souls anyone's ever met. So his death was my first WHY? Was it karma? because people say that when you do something bad it will come back to you 10 times worse. However, it will not be directed at you but your loved ones. I would like your opinions on this. Thanks...

Hello there. I do not believe in a past life. I believe we only live once. However, I do believe in retribution and God is constantly looking. I live my life trying to be as perfect as I can and to hurt as little people as i can. I believe in one thing, do unto others as you would have others do unto you. As for your brother, it's unfortunate to hear that. My condolences to you. There're many things in life we cannot explain including this. I am sure your brother is a good soul and is happy where he is now.

i do believe in karma. to me karma simply means "what you reap is what you sow". goodness becomes goodness. bad attracts bad. and both compounds. have multiplier effects. but then, there is the this called forgiveness. people make mistakes, and if we truly asks forgiveness, karma's effect lessens. we have an ALL FORGIVING GOD. compassionate and understanding. another thing, get to the brighter side of things, things happen for a purpose, it is not always karma at work. good or bad situations, will always offer opportunities for improving life and how we see life. the mind is a powerful tool, whatever you tell it, may likely happen. it is the power of suggestion. what do we do, suggest to the mind positive things. i wish you well....perry

I'm not really sure. I believe a person will get what's coming to them, but I don't think it would be 10 times worse.

Nope, I don't believe on Karma. We are all masters of our own destiny, so what makes us right now is based on what we do. Some are luck, badluck and some are unfortunate events. I don't rely my life on such occurances or happenings as these, it would be better to accept it and do our best to avoid them from doing or happening again. But then again, we can never be sure of what lies ahead of us. I consider them as "tests" in my faith, of how I am willing to submit everything to HIM..

I believe in karma, but it is your personal karma. I don't think that my love ones are the ones to suffer if I do a bad deed.It will be me who suffers.I am sorry to hear about your brother. Why do good people die too soon? I don't know. All I can think of is that Billy Joel song "Only the good die young".Take Care.

Hi menctomas. Basically, I am a Buddhist so for sure I believe in karma. Alright, there are some saying for we Buddhist, sometimes karma is brought from our previously life and we have to suffer in our this life. So, if we do something bad, we will either receive our bad consequences in this life for the following life. Well, I am not quite agree with it will redirect the our loved one. This is my view, hope it helps.

No, not really. I think it cant be possible to have past lie that u wont know, Youre just thinking that at next life you could be better or different, something like that i thing. I can be wrong, but thats kinda lot what is it. I had same thing years ago, but no more. I know there's no, there will maybe, but not past. How do you can think this without any info, fakta or teory made?
