My Husband's Family

I am researching my husband's family and I can't get back any farther then his grandfather. The last name is spelled Ressie or Risse. His grandfather's birth certificate is in a foreign language so I don't know what country they came from. Does anyone have any information?

you can check with the college in the language department and see if they can tell you what the language is they teach a lot of languages that might help they say most of them came from england and wales or the uk you can go to ancestry.com and you can find a lot of info from that site hope this helps

hi annlynn, i have no information on the last name. but im just curious why dont you ask your husband instead? im sure he knows better.
