Mac computers, how good are they really?

What is this Mac computers as i haven't come across this?

It really depends. Macs have increased their market share, and they are some of the better computers around, but it depends on what you're willing to put up with. Macs come with lesser applications, but because they're more targeted to a certain kind of user, they are more popular in that segment. Macs are popular with those who want to look cool, those using it for work, and to a much lesser extent, those who are looking for security and integration with the other Apple products in their life like the iPod, iTunes, iTV, iPhone, etc. It really depends. However, if you don't maintain them well, they're a pain to maintain. My old college used MACs for certain classes, and I hate them with a passion. Now, I feel that if you think it's good, then go ahead and use a Mac, but unless you've got a good reason too, it would be better to just get a PC and install Ubuntu.
