"Titanic"effected me in a very profound way because it made me a fan of Leonardo DiCaprio forever, and I started to learn about him and just fell in love for the rest of my life. It's a simple and as complicated as that...*smiles*

It was so sad, how she lost the man that she loved. I do think it was rather slanted, towards the "rich people are b*astards, poor people are victimized" type of story, and I doubt that all the rich people were as selfish as was made out to be. I remember seeing a Night to Remember which was also about the Titanic disaster and there they gave a reason for allowing people into the boats. It is the same on most ships, a certain floor is let out, and then another, because they have to account for the passengers. So when the steerage passengers on the Titanic were not allowed to go to the boats, it was because every passenger had to be accounted to. Now it is the middle class passengers that would go down when a ship crashes into an ice berg, because they do the top floor where the big whigs are, and then the lowest one where the lower class passengers are, then the next rich class floor, and then the lower middle class, so that is how things have changed. We were on the middle class floor when we went on our cruise. Oh and we did not go to the mid Atlantic, it was to the North Pacific= Alaska.

I did enjoy the movie, but surprisingly, I didn't cry while watching it. most of my friends who watched that movie cried hehe. I only watched that movie once at the cinema when I was in high school, sometimes the movie also shows on tv.

Very frankly, i didnt like the movie at all. It was just any other love story with the true story attached to it. It was very slow moving i really didnt have the patience to watch it.
