Some people really make me wonder what goes inside their feeble minds. I was on the bus with my 3 children. I sat with one child while the other 2 were in a seat in front of me. When the bus got to the shopping centre where we were getting off, I got up with my child and then stopped a moment while my other 2 children got out of their seat. Someone behind me said, "children are meant to let the adults go first" !! Like, was I supposed to just keep going & leave my children behind? Besides, kids have just as much right to exit a bus as the adults - I've never heard of this 'children wait for adults' business!
I just could not believe the nerve of the person! The only thing that stopped me from giving them an earful was the fact that I did not see who said it. If I am on the bus with my children then I will certainly let them go ahead of me - I will NOT leave my children behind!

You are a great Mother by NOT letting your children out of your site....and, if my kids were still small, I would have done exactly what you did.
People are so disgusting sometimes today...it really angers me.
If you would have left your kids behind, I'm sure someone would have made a comment to that effect too. They just can't mind their own business and have to make snide remarks.....aauugghh!
You did the right thing and I'm clapping right now...smile.

People are of different types....The most important thing lies in the fact about how we deal with them....
It was good that you dint reply to that person...IF you would have replied, the person would have said something to you and a fight could have started...You have three children and for them you should keep quite and suffer these things...Thats what you can do as a parent protecting his/her children.....If the irritation goes beyond a level then you should take action.....not by speaking to that person....get help from your friends/family....Ask them their advice on this topic.....

Some people have nothing else to do but comment and give advice to others. they themselves might not be behaving in a required fashion but will leave no chance to point out someone else's fault.

Some people are just stupid. Lol. Why in the world does the person would want to say that, I just wonder too. I think maybe he just wants to flirt with you, who knows? He wanted to attract your attention, that's why he said nonsense things like that. To me what the person said totally doesn't make sense at all. If that thing happens to me, I don't know... maybe I'll just think of him as stupid. That's what he is. Lol. Have a nice day, princesslee.

Some people are kind of very interfering!! They just love to interfer in other people's life..!!
They love commenting on others and speacially they are old citizens..!! AS they kind of find it hard to except todays world easily..!!
Its very obvious that no mother will ever leave her kids alone in bus. SO there is no need in reminding her about it..!!
In my view children should walk before adults, directed by the adult so that the adult can keep an eye on them to protect them.
If they would be walking behind the mother how would the mother know that if her kids are being kidnapped or what??
This is the case that kids should always be in front of our eyes!!
Whenever I take any of my small cousins out and If I fail to keep them in front of me I always hold there hands to make sure that they are walking with me and not going any where else...!!

That person must have no children, princesslee. I would never have my children out of my sight, and that includes buses, when we are away from home. If it were me, I would have told them that, even if I couldn't see them, just so they know what I thought..

Some people have no idea at all! This person was obviously childless. You did the right thing and I would have done exactly the same as you. My daughter stays with me all the time and it is my duty of care to make sure that she is secure and safe.
I guarantee that if you were a parent that just let your children do what they wanted and you left them behind on the bus to "let the adults go first" the you would have been labeled a bad mother for leaving your kids behind or letting them run amuck.
It was probably a good thing you didn't see who said it or you would have given them an earfull in front of your kids and that's not a good look.

that is rude,i can't understand what he said.we should abserve many things,such as law ,customs and so on.but we have our own thought,so we need't hear other's mind in many times,that is our freedom.

Sounds like a safe way to handle it.I sure wouldn't let my kid stay behind either on a bus.

I think the man must be a yong person,he has mot chilren.If he han a child ,he does not speak as that.
