Do you say thank you to God? My religion said that if a person thank God then God will give more to that person and if person keep dissatisfied with everything then God will make the person worse. I try to be thankful for my house, food, money, car, etc that I have. When I am under stressful situation I always try to remind myself that I am a lucky person i.e. like I have food while many people out there dont have anything to eat. And when I under stressful situation this is the hardest thing to do.. How about you? Do you think being thankful worth it? Do your belief ask you to be thankful? Are thankful in nature or dissatisfied in nature?

Hi salam1! Its really a good thing to give thanks to God rather than living a life of complain. Research have shown that people who live a life of complain never move forward in life, but keep experiencing difficulties. It is good to give thanks to God in any situation we find ourselves. Being thankful to God is worth that is why I like giving thanks to God no matter the circumstances. Thanks and have a great day.

There's nothing wrong in saying "thank you", i guess that's the most wonderful sign of gratitude. Nothing is worthless especially telling GOD how grateful you are to all His blessings to you, even without your lips saying it, GOD definitely knew your heart and how grateful you are.

I agree, God knows everything that we do, say, and think (and feel). if deep inside us say thanks then it is sufficient..

Ya i always thanks to God for whatever he has given to me.If we people complain God for what he has not given than y should we not thanks God for whatever he has given us.And infact he gives us more than what we have not.and when we dont get a single thing we blame God,i think its really wrong.I am not saying that i dont do this, sometimes when i am angry or very depressed i do it.But i am talking of general human nature and i think that we should at least try not to do it.

I am truly blessed for having a family of my own, an extended family that supports me all the way, a good job for my husband and a business that starting to pick up for me, and many more countless blessing. So I make it a point to thank our God every single day and every moment I have nothing to do.

I am very thank for every thing that God has given me, even the difficult times. They are a time for growing and getting closer to God the Father. Difficult times are also the times that we need to let God be incontrol which is very hard to do. Every good thing comes from him. I even thank him for the blankeys on my bed.

I'm a Muslim, and I believe this is the most blessing I have in life... I heard this story once: There was a man passing the dessert when he heard a man saying thank you God all the time. He entered the tent and saw the man with no legs nor arms -and I'm not sure if the man was blind or not- he looked at him and said what are you thanking God for.. the man said: I'm thanking God for giving me a tongue to thank him... This story really touched me and since I heard it I always thank God for all the blessings he gave to me... Very nice topic.. thank you :)

Yes, i say thank you to God, everytime i pray. I know i have been blinded by so many troubles of my life and i never had the chance to see his shower of blessing. From time to time, i even pray before going to work. For me to be productive at work and be more dedicated. To have people around me to support me and help me. Do not forget to praise God for all he had done to us.

I always say thank you to God, in our culture we thank God on waking up for giving us another beautiful day, before meals and before going to sleep. I think it is mainly to build our charecter.

Yes, I say Thanks to Him for the blessings that he gives me and my family. I owe Him a lot. He keeps me safe, provides for me and my family and he gives me strength especially when I needed it most. He is the only one who is always there whenever I'm down. I could feel feel His love though I cannot see Him. I think I always dissapoint Him, but I feel that He loves me so much and always brings me back to His side.

I always thank God for everything. Whether it is getting a bus in time or getting a good job, everything is given by God. Apart from all these, I always thank God while getting up and while going to sleep, for keeping me comfortable with basic things. My religion says that and I think all the faiths stress for this.

Yes, I thank God for everything that I have and do. Even the problems that come our ways, in the time of hardship I always thanked God. There's no better way to return back what He had shared to us by thanking Him through our prayers.
