(I saw something about this a little while back and given my line of work looked into it... and it is very much true... if you look it up on snopes if has pics, but like it says, it would be in a plastic baggie with a sticker or something on it to indicate the flavor. It looks like home made pop rocks or crunched up rock candy..) Especially on Halloween!! There is a type of crystal meth going around that looks like strawberry pop rocks. It smells like strawberry also and it is being handed out to kids in school yards in AR. I'm sureit will make its way around the country. Kids are ingesting this thinking it is candy and being rushed off to the ER in dire condition. It also comes in chocolate, peanut butter, cola, cherry, grape and orange. It looks just like pop rocks. Please instruct children to not accept candy that looks like this even from a friend and to take any that they may have to a teacher, principal, etc. Pass this around it could save some family a lot of heartache! They call it strawberry meth or strawberry quick. Special Agent Todd V. Everyone, beware this! Drugs can go from state to state really fast, so make sure you check your child's candy this year! Or go somewhere safe for Halloween, like the fire dept. or the mall.

Oh wow, that is terribly scary! I have to make sure to remind my girls that they aren't supposed to take candy from strangers, and that even if they are with friends, they shouldn't accept any candy that isn't still in its original packaging. When it comes to trick or treat, we check everything they get before they get to eat any of it.
