Does anyone sell Avon? Do you really make any money with it? I would like to start selling, but dont know if it would be worth all the time and effort, or if it would be for the pay. Someone let me know!

I sell Avon and do really good at it at times. I do like buying things from there too though, especially around Christmas time! It's worth it if you put the time in it, but if your just wanting to sell to a few people or just family..no, you won't make much.

It all depends on how many people are already doing it in your area. I have like 10 avon ladies in my area so they are all doing very little. But if you find there are not too many in your area it may pay off. Plus you have to do all that delivering and taking down their orders. If you would be interested in another company with a line of make-up, cleaning products, personal care products, vitamins, candles and more that is not over done and that all you do is sign up people to do shop direct all their products are delivered to their door and you get paid a commission on everything they buy as long as they buy, I found one that I love. If interested go to http://healthybetterme.com/ and request more information from there.

My biggest problem with selling Avon was that I bought more than I sold. LOL Of course this would be a matter of self restraint or lack of I should say. :) I think if you have a good client base and not be tempted to buy, than you'd do ok.

I haven't done it but a friend of mine is making a very good living from selling Avon. She has 5 children but still manages somehow to be one of the top sales reps in Iceland for Avon. I think her trick is to invite people to her home so she doesn't need a babysitter or to travel much. If you really believe in the product and are confident, you can sell anything.

I do sell Avon and I have for a couple of months. I am making money and I am really enjoying it. I love the discounted items I can buy for myself. The REAL trick is not to spend all of your profits on your own order:) The discount is much higher for new representatives. You are welcome to check out my new rep discounts on my website. Even if you go though somebody else I would have to give a thumbs up on the dicussion of working for Avon.:)

My best friend has done it 3 years ago.Did not get much profit. She got many samples for her personal use. Some offers like buy one get one free for anon rep can be sold and profits made.Totally not worth the time spend unless you have a bandwagon of lady friends.

I don't sell it but one of my sisters does. I see all that extra work she does to earn a few dollars. She's been doing that now for at least 5 years if not more and she's still working at her real job. If you are looking at a home-based business that is easy, not stressful and fun to do and make money or course, I can give you information on it. Let me know by emailing me to rpelley5@yahoo.com.

I used to sell it. You can do good if you have enough people to buy from you. I spent most of my profit buying for my kids and myeself.

You do know that you can only sign up people IN PERSON, right? If you don't follow that then you can get in big trouble with Avon.

I done Avon for a short time and the area i was delivering my books to wasnt very good and i made no money at all, if anything i was actually out of pocket, after buying books and all the rest there isnt much room for profit and i find now that atleast 3 out of 5 people knows someones who does avon or knows someone who knows someones who does Avon so they would buy it from who they know already!

I did it for a little while, but they payout wasn't all that great. It is hard to establish a regular clientel, you have a lot of other reps to compete with and there is not anyone who says where each rep can sell. Personally, I didn't find it to be worth my time and effort.

Well I've just started and it really depends on the area you're given, the first couple of streets I got weren't good at all, so I requested a couple more and have done well so far. If you put the effort in to find custom then you'll make money, if you don't put any effort in then you won't
