Do You Love Blogging about Yourself?

Some of us have professional blogs here and some of us have totally personal blogs. Which one do you enjoy writing the best? Your professional ones or personal ones?
Well, I have both! And I have to say I enjoy both of them! I love sharing with people what my life is and what's my born place look like *smiles*. And I love to share what I know best (beauty stuff) with people who have the same interest too!

There are many wonderfully written personal blogs out there, I'm sure your blog belongs in that category.
Although my blogging niche is in Internet marketing, I do make personal post once in a while to share my life with readers. That is why I have a 'Personal' category on my blog.

Hi Wondericequeen, and I also enjoy both. One of my more personal once is geared towards my take on life and it's situations, my personal philosophy but not my personal life, and I guess this one I enjoy most of all the others

I have two as well. They seem to intermingle somewhat, some of my personal opinions make it to my 'professional blog', (whenever that starts bringing in enough income just to cover my ISP costs!!!)and my yahoo blog on 360, which is more personal I guess.
Both blogs link to each other and share some content. I feel both are evolving and I am just watching where they go!

Both. But I enjoy personal blogging far better. As you've said, it's great blogging about your life, things you love and the likes and at the same time, meet a lot of people who are similar to you and are interested in you and not just the things that you are knowledgeable of. But both are very rewarding in different aspects.

My blogs are both subject-oriented. The only time I talk about myself is if my personal experience or feelings are relevant. I read mostly niche blogs, but there are a few personal blogs that I read regularly. To be honest, most people's lives are interesting only to themselves, their families, and their friends, but there's nothing wrong with that. It's what's so great about blogging--that it can be anything you want it to be.

I only write professional blogs and very honestly speaking, it is professional blogs that I prefer reading.
:=)
But I know that many people enjoy writing totally personal blogs and I respect what they do.
Everyone has different feelings about this subject and has a right to their feelings.

I love to read both, but as for personal blogs - these can be amazing if the writer has a flair for making things funny and interesting. I hate blogs that use elitist jargon or talk in an obscure language aimed at those in the KNOW. And I like to see some nice photos on a bog too....
