Is it really required to add a credit/debit card in moneybookers? Right now, I also don't have any bank account. I live here in the Philippines, can you please suggest one that offers good service.. Thanks!

For now, the only option for Philippine mylotters to receive our payment is through Moneybookers. Though Paypal is already available in the Philippines to send and to receive funds, Mylot still doesn't use it for payments. I contacted mylot about Paypal as a payment option for Filipinos and Mylot said that they are still unable to send funds to Philippine Paypal accounts. Maybe because it is still in beta testing. From my understanding, Paypal just announced last week that we can be able to withdraw funds to our debit/credit cards but I think they are still testing it.. We'll just to use Moneybookers. And yeah, if you want to withdraw your money at mooneybookers, you have to add your debit/credit card to do so.. With a fee of $2.53 per withdrawal. Best of luck!

No problem. :) Anything I can help you with, I'm just a pm away. Anyway, I just hope that Paypal will be available as a payment option soon because as what I have heard, Moneybookers withdrawal fees are so high. I heard this one from a Filipino mylotter who used Moneybookers. She tried to withdraw $20 (about P900), minus $2.53 per withdrawal(P120).. So she's expecting to receive about P700 pesos, but then the amount she got was about P 550. That's a lot of charges.. So I am hopeful that Paypal will be available for Filipinos . best of luck!

yes you need a credit/debit card to verify your account as well as to make withdrawals of your earnings. you can apply for a credit card or open a bank account from any of our local banks.

I think your best bet will be Paypal. You should also be aware that you need credit/debit card or bank account to be verified or to fund your account. You can use Paypal to receive money but for a limited amount. You will only have the problem ofwithdrawing your balance if you do not have bank account. All is not anyway, you can use your money to pay for goods and services. Hope this is helpful.

thanks ilunice! I'd be getting a paypal account soon, since i heard that it's already available here in the philippines. may i know what a debit account is? because i don't think i'd want to have a credit card. aside from these, i am also thinking how much fees will be deducted from my account. yes, your response is helpful. Good day!
