LOL I reallly hate to laugh about this, but its kind of funny to me, forgive me all! Its really unfortunate, and Im sure she was scared out of her mind. So much so she was not thinking clearly, she called police and told them she was locked in a Clinic and couldnt get out. She then unlocked the door to let them in when they arrived. lol Why didnt she just unlock the door and let herself out, then call the Police to file a report? http://www.usatoday.com/news/offbeat/2007-9-28-ct-scam_N.htm Have you ever been forgotten like this in a Medical Clinic or any where else by a "professional" before? I read this story a couple of days ago and shared the story with other people as well. It's hard to imagine that happening. I can see why she didn't let herself out though. I don't believe she spoke English, and that is why she first called her son. Then he called 911. The other reason could be that to get out, she might have needed a key or a card. At my last job, if we wanted to let anyone in and out of the medical facility, we had to have a key card. They couldn't get in or out any other way.

lOl no it actually happened Paint, in Tuscon Arizona on Sept the 28th. I was trying to find an Archived link but they dont seem to have one. The woman went in to have a CT Scan and they just sort of forgot about her being in there and left for the day. She wiggled her way out of the CT Scanner and found she was the only person there. She called her son who advised her to call the police. Im sure she wished it was all a joke! Bay xx

I have never actually been left in a clinic like that, although I have waited for such a long time a few times that I was certain I had been forgotten. I know that sometimes it seems like I have been waiting forever. When I wait just so long I end up opening the door and making sure that they see me popping my head out from time to time. After hearing about this, I will make extra sure that I do this.

I apologize the link is no longer availble. I guess I was really late on this one! lol Yea you can feel forgotten sitting in an ER, they really do need to make it more efficient. Just because someone doesnt look bad off they could be. Looking out the door will get someones attention. They dont want you running off so they are watching you. lol Bay xx
