I have written a diary/journal, but not every day. However, now I have a blog and I write there almost every day, so you can say that my blog is some sort of diary, too. If you want to read other people's diaries, you can visit other people's blogs just as long as the bloggers talk about their thoughts and experiences.

I write dairy to keep record of both the sweet memories which i have had with my husband and the sour ones with my mother and sister in law. Its feels really good to recall these things. At one stage i was expecting to use this as a record of proof what i faced from my sister in law to put up infront of court if i had to take the route.

Actually, we know, Diary is written daily. before going to sleep at night, normally diary is written. However it is not possible for us to write diary daily. but very good that, you write it atleast. However, another think i really liked that, you write your experiences. When you will go through these after 4/5 years you would be enjoyed it. Ok, But why do you write diary? Is it for mental satisfaction or any thing else?

I try to write in my diary daily but like you said, there are times when I skipped an entry for a day or two. I have been writing a diary since I was 9 until now. I keep my diary private.

when i was in high school, i never fail to write in my diary after the day is over. i would often write what happened in school, usually about my crushes and friends ^__^, and then i would even write some lyrics of a song which i thought could be my theme song for the day. LOL sometimes when i'm at school or anywhere, i would still something on a piece of paper and i would take it home and post it to my diary. ^__^;; when i went to college things became different. i barely had time for my diary so it became seldom that i put entries in it. it was sad because i would have made a chronicle of my college life which i found so fun and memorable. and the saddest thing is, i forgot a lot of my college memories and that diary would have been my refresher if only i have written regularly on it. ^__^;; now that i work, i rarely write on my diary anymore. i usually write whenever i go through my things and that seldom happens. ^__^;; i guess we really do outgrow on some things.

Thank you for responding. Actually I could not give you response because i had a probem on Net. However, Diary writing in school level was a hobbey in case of many of us. But when we enter in life of job seeker, we forget all. Some time we can remember and recall our sweet memories and sorrow events by going through those old pages from our diary.

I did start to make a diary once but i also became lazy like you. I think it's for people who are really fond of writing just about anything even the not so memorable moments in their life. me, oftentimes i don't know what to jot down. i can't seem to think of something exciting that occured for that certain day. I can't imagine too that if someone ever dared to read my diary then all my secrets will be revealed so i stopped.

Actually, now a days we are very busy with our work. we don't want to look back of our old days. we don't want to remember our old days. we want to go and look front only. indirectly that is also one remarkable reason of this, I think. thank you for responding.

I don't have a daily diary, though I really want to have one, to analyze events of my life. But my life is really busy so I don't have enough time to do it. But I still have a blog, a technology blog, visit it at www.macobex.com TNX
