I have this pair that for months have been alleging that they made me the beneficiary to a suspended account that needs me to reactivate with a deposit of approximately 1,500 GBP into a newly opened account with the same Community Trust Bank UK!
Oh, I gave them some of my personal information (out of curiousity) when they request that I assist them transfer funds in the millions with 20% as profit for me. (Laughs) I have repeatedly told them I do not have the funds to do such a thing, and that I would only assist them if they can come up with the said amount to reactivate this account to which I am allegedly beneficiary. Why can the funds not be transferred to me directly, seeing I am beneficiary? or why do I need to reactivate the account in order to get the funds that I am now entitled to? And their response is that the account has been dormant for years! Although I have humored them, I never really took anything serious, but a recent online search for Communitiy Trust Bank UK resulted in no useful feedback. Just wondering if there truly exists this bank in the UK. No, they never gave me an address, and since I was not paying much attention, I did not bother to ask until recently (to which I have not yet received a feedback), but just want to be ready with my own information to compare to theirs. Do you, especially you in the UK, know of Community Trust Bank UK? And what would the normal procedure for a beneficiary to claim funds, if such funds indeed exist?

Oh, be rest assured; no penny is coming from Netsbridge to help reactivate any bank account, even one that I am allegedly beneficiary to! Hmmm, I did give them a true dormant bank account with zip balance with BA (closed weeks ago), that I guess they may have attempted something on to no avail. Well, I always told myself that I would someday actually follow-up on these online get-rich-quick games, and I guess this was the one to experiment with. In some aspect, it actually became an intellectual showdown!
Oh, several months ago, I even got into an encounter with a fraudulent mystery shopping job company, which had sent me, unsolicitated, a check of about $4,900; but demanded that most of the money be sent back to them via Western Union and the rest was for my salary and shopping job observations at various local stores. Please see details in post "Beware of ongoing shopping jobs scams" - http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1069218.aspx
Of course, I was very curious that any company would send me money without first having my personal information! But, since I needed extra income and they were allegedly offering me a mystery shopping job, I felt compelled to check them out. The sad part of the story is that I was actually disappointed, although they got nothing out of me!

OK - sorry to disappoint you, but I live in the UK, and can categorically assure you that this Community Trust Bank UK does NOT exist! This is another scam. People here get similar things all the time, naming US banks, as they assume we will never have heard of them, - it is just a way to try and get rich quick for them! Please just ignore it - it really isn't genuine, and that Bank does not exisit.

Thank you, Dennisjb, exactly what I, too, thought. I simply gave them information that they can do nothing with. My curiousity just got pricked because of their allegation that they have made me beneficiary with the little information that I gave them. But, of course, when they started to ask for money to reactivate suspended bank account, I asked questions and they ran around questions! Oh no, I would never send money to anyone to activate or reactivate a bank account, whose existence I am not sure of (although I am the alleged beneficiary)!
Did you not read about my encounter with some fraudulent Canadian company alleging to be a mystery shopping company and mailing identical checks, allegedly written by one legit US bank, to numerous individuals in the US?
