A Sad 7th Birthday

On my granddaughters 7th birthday her grandpa passed away. (on her dad's side) She was very sad so I had her and her 2 year old sister stay at my house for a couple of days while plans for the funeral were being made. I took her birthday shopping (I let her pick out her gift and she loved that) and had a little birthday party for her we even had silly string. We all baked, made pictures, played games, and went to the park several times. We laughed and had a good time.
The funeral was yesterday, he was a great man and will be missed.

That is sad for a little girl. I'm glad you took her shopping and did some special things with her. I'm sure she will look back back on this years later with special memories of you!

So sorry to hear about the passing of your granddaughter's grandpa Ourdew. It was admirable however what you did do for her, and make her still have a great BD, and joy and fun too.
