Pronk and C.C.

Do you think that Pronk and C.C. will leave after next year? They're free agents after 08. Do you think that the team will do their best to keep them both? I love them both and I think they help make the team whole. What do you think?

I thought Pronk just signed a 6 year contract or something. And it depends on how far they make it this season... If they end up getting to the World Series I doubt they would leave.

Nope, it says next to his name he's a free agent after next year. I know Grady just signed a 6 year contract.

I hope they keep them. I would like to see them stay and actually ownership doesn't screw this up. I go by the old saying don't fix something that's not broken. Keep both of those guys. I really don't want to see another string of terrible seasons happen again. It would really be terrible. I say keep them at all costs and not be cheap about it. If they can do that, it would be a major plus.

Well it would be nice if they stayed sometimes I think the Cleveland sports market is cheap and does not want to pay the higher money to the big name players, I think if CC carries the Indians far enough they might just make him an offer

I think we need C.C. to make it to the playoffs, because he got us the 19 wins he got, plus he's just a really really good pitcher. We'd lose 1 of our 2 aces.
