Hello there. I would say I am not very disappointed. To be frank, I do not think the Carling Cup is a priority for Man U. If it is, Alex Ferguson would not have fielded that squad. Anyway, I am more disappointed with the performance of Man U. That squad represents the youth of Man U. This performance tells us that our youth team still has a long way to go compared to those in Arsenal.

Even Manchester United fielded a second-string squad, it still consist of at least 7 internationals and with the likes of Wes Brown, Nani and Anderson in the squad, they should not lost to Coventry. To add salt to the injury, Arsenal young players beat a first-team Newcastle squad. That shows the difference of quality between both youth setup. While Arsenal keep on churning good players from their squad who can stand on their own, Man Utd keep on promoting average players such as O'Shea, Kieran Richardson and Fletcher over the years. Since the Fergie Fledglings of Beckham, Butt, Scholes and Neville brothers made their debut in 1990's, the team haven't had any outstanding players coming out from the academy. Very disappointing result indeed.

yeah i so the match..it was really heartening for me too see the red devils going down against a championship team like coventry...
but still the squad which played the game was young..lacked in experience but there is no need of worrying about the lost ones they are still dre in the fa cup,epl and ucl..
