gende and development

I just attended this gender and development seminar and I was made to understand that this is a global thing. It is the right of women to be of equal to men and that women must be afforded the same right as men. In matters of education, status in society, in work and in other male dominated activities. Your comment on this, do you agree or you disagree

I guess my only comment is that it still surprises me to learn that some people are just figuring this out. I'm glad you understand this now and hope you share this new attitude with all of the women in your life.
