Potically Correct War - Why we Can't Win

Our Military is being asked to fight a PC war while the enemy has follows no rules and is not following any international treaties. When we capture an enemy combantant on the battle field they have no protection under international treaties. The US could excute every one of them legally. Instead we house them in a prison compound give them specially planned meals instead of meals that our troops eat. Now the democratics are trying to extend Constutional prodections of US Citizens to our enemys. The enemy beheads our soldiers and hangs their bodies for the world to see, while our troops have reporters and congressmen watching their every move waiting for them to make a mistake or preceived mestake. A Marine patrol was accused of cold blooded murder by Congressman Murtha and they went through months of "tourture" as they were facing life in prison or even excution. To hear an American congressman calling them murders, to hear it on the nightly news almost celebrating the fact that they were facing murder charges for doing their duty. There is no apology and the news reports are almost disappointed each time one of them was cleared. There was a column in the Boston Herald about two Special Forces Solders who were being invesgated for killing a terriorist. they were cleared by several lower level invesgations but were recalled to Ft. Bragg for possible Court Martial. We need to go to war against the Terriorist just a FDR went to war against Germany, Japan and Germany..."I have directed that all measures be taken for our defense." The American people should not forget 9/11..."But always will our whole nation remember the character of the onslaught against us." When wwe go to war we should do so with the full force of our militry. "No matter how long it may take us to overcome this premeditated invasion, the American people in their righteous might will win through to absolute victory." the quotes are from President Franklin Roosvelt Day of Infamy Speech declaring war on Japan. The words are very applical today. If we are going to fight a war then take the gloves off and let our troops fight to win. i would also go so far as to charge those people with Treason who give aid and comfort to the enemy. The New York Times for Printing Secret Documents related to the war on terror. Congress Murtha for making false charges against our troops andnot giving them the due process they are guarentee in the Consitution. The Senators who are fighting to give enemy combantants the full protection of the US Constiution, which international treedies do not give them any rights.

I agree, we should have went in with everything we had and shot everything tat even looked like it was going to attack. Finally we are making progress, and we are also beginning to win the hearts and minds of the Iraqi people, some of whom used to be our enemy. That is a really good sign, because they are turning against al-Qeada and the rest of the so-called insurgents more and more all of the time. There are many people who want to call this war unwinnable, but they are mistaken in their beliefs. Even after Iraq, the war on terror will be ongoing for the foreseeable future. All lot of the people in Congress have no business in office as they are there for themselves and not to serve the best interests of America. These are the same people who complain about Iraq while trying to socialize our government and our way of life at every turn. These people are traitors to the Constitution and the American philosophy of individual freedom and personal responsibility. Public opinion is dictated by the media who make sure to send out the version of the news that they want people to hear, and far too many believe everything they hear because they mistakenly believe in Freedom of the Press, and therefore they think that the news they get is accurate, when in reality it is not, or it is not the full story. There are many who should have already been called to task, but they will not be, because people don't care enough to find the truth for themselves. Not only do we have enemies from without, we also have enemies from within, and they control the media.

People forget that it took 10 years to pacify Germany after WWII. It took how many years to establish democracy in Korea where they had no experience with democracy. how longdid it take the US to go from independance to a working democracy. These things taketime and you are right we are making progress.

While some of the aspects of the WOT are stupid and counter productive, we are winning. Our goal is for Iraq to become a democratic country. That goal is being accomplished as we literally kill off the cream of the radical Muslim leadership. It is not talked about much. But it is there for anyone to see. We are using the Iraq war to kill radical Muslims who are the biggest threat. We are succeeding. All the rest such as the criticism of the WOT is distraction like does a magician to perform his tricks. While people are paying attention to Abu Ghab or Guitmo or SF soldiers killing suppossed innocent Iraqi's, the radical Muslim leadership as well as thousands of their followers are quietly being slaughtered. I think they are starting to figure that out. Hence, they have been more reasonable lately.

Yes, it is better to fight them over there. That is the best arguement to not end the WOT. End it and you take the preasure off them, allowing them to launch another 9-11 or worse.
