am stuck on what to do next on a business

Ok where to start. I usually make all sorts of chocolate treats around the holidays for the family. Everyone is always saying how good they are and that i should go into business that they could see it being successful. And it is something that i really love doing. But it is the whole business aspect of it. How does one promote and advertise to actually get customers to order. I know a lot of you are gone to say word of mouth tell friends about it first. But keep in mind i am a single mom to a six year old so friends, i don;t have many of them anymore as everything revolves around my lil man. I'm sure alot of you can relate. But any info or ideas would be helpful and very much appreciated. Thanks

My boyfriend and I tried it last Christmas too and we weren't able to earn from it. We just got our capital back. We started awfully late already and our supplier stopped making the products because she was due to have her first baby that time. Anyway, we have tried visiting our favorite restaurants and we offered them our product. First, we gave them a free sample and then when they liked it, they ordered. Fortunately, we got an order from a caterer, we got a big order from them. Good luck to your business! I hope that you will do well.
