If you were looking to buy a home, what would be the requirements it would have to have in order for you to buy it?

I think the location is very important for me. I like it has a convenient transportation and nice environment. It is better to be close to the hospital, park, supermarket, market etc.

It should be in a decent residential locality with good neighbourhood. If it is newly constructed, it interests me more. If not, doesnot matter, it can be set right. Price is the consideration which decides. If one scounts the areas, one can make out the prevailing rate for the land + building. I generally look for 2 BR house (So one should look for the space required taking into account next 10 or 15 years family requirements). Whether the building has covered car parking area. Is the water supply and powersupply alright. Promximity to school ( if one has two or more children) Proximity to markets Proximity to the office or workplace. Availability of funds + loan facility + repaying capacity Whether the house which is put up for sale has clear and marketable title deeds.
