Arkansas anyone?

My husband and I are planning a trip to Arkansas in November and we will be staying at Quachita State Park in the campground. The park and lake looks gorgeous and I'm sure we will enjoy our stay there. Does anyone live in the area that could give me some tips on other things close by to do? We will probably spend a day in the Hot Springs area and also up towards Mount Nebo. I would really appreciate any tips and advice you have for this area. We plan to stay a week. Thanks all!
