OK. This drove me absolutely nuts when I heard this on the news today. Now we have illegals griping because the border patrol is 'interfering with their right to find work'. Are you kidding me??!!! If they are illegal, they HAVE no rights! Don't give me the old wheeze about they are 'only doing the jobs Americans don't want to do. This latest batch of gripers stand on the corner every day, hoping someone will pick them up for a day job. Doesn't sound like they are doing jobs we don't want to do to ME!! They come here with no job prospects, not able to speak English, and we are supposed to cater to them. I don't think so!! There was an immigration 'official' that said "Well, if they're (border patrol) interfering with their (illegals) right to work...". That clown should NOT be an immigration official for the USA! Not even upholding our immigration laws! This will be enough to make me re-register to vote...just so I can vote ALL those idiots OUT of office!! If you aren't going to uphold our laws and look out for US citizens, you don't deserve to be in ANY office!! Not even dog catcher!! OK. I'm done with my rant. Anyone else think this is absolutley ridiculous?

Oh he11 yea I agree with you, We cant find work because all the illegals have are jobs, it is not that us US citizens dont want to work it is that we cant afford to live getting paid as cheep as they pay these illegals and we dont have 15 people living in one houses to pitch in on the bills. You know that I am manageing this trailer park and just last week illegal came and looked at one of the trailers for rent and he got mad at me because I would not rent him a trailer, but let me tell you why, because him and his wife did not have a green card and were still trying to get one and was moving here from another state. So he got mad at me but, my bad! No green card no home here it is the law. I did re-register to vote this year and I say kick them out of office if they cant handle their jobs. And then you have 15 illegals living in one house and they are all working and then on top of that they get food stamps, WTF!!!!!

Good for you! At least I know of one landlord that is doing her part! They can get public assistance because they claim alot of kids (even if they aren't theirs) and do cash-paying jobs. So they don't have to report it.

Don't get me started on this one...I'm in total agreement with you. What rights do illegal immigrants, who don't even pay taxes in this country, have? How dare they even have the nerve to come here and start complaining about ANYTHING? I started a discussion about this a while back and got a couple of unfriendly comments. My feelings are that if I were an illegal immigrant in another country, I would keep my head low and try to avoid making a big stink over something that didn't even belong to me in the first place. As far as the city I live in, they are driving down our local economy by being willing to work for wages that most citizens here can't afford to work for, because they can't live off of them. Of course, most of us don't live ten people in a house.

I think I might have figured out why they dare to start jumping up and down about rights they should have.....it's because this country has become so candy-coated, we won't draw the line. Don't get me wrong,I love my country. It's the candy-corn fruitloops we have in office that are making this country such an easy mark. Another example I cited below. I had to take several breaks while working those papers. It made me so MAD!!! I didn't volunteer to pay for these people to have medical care! I don't have a problem with helping CITIZENS who need help. NOT ILLEGALS! I couldn't get a job in the kind of offices I like because I'm not bilingual. It's MY country! WHY should I have to be bilingual?! I seriously doubt that the doctors' offices in Mexico all have English-speakers on their staff!

I know. I couldn't believe I heard that on the regular news. To top it off, it was mentioned that they were going to court over this. How can they be so 'poor, put-out non-americans' and be able to afford to go to court for this?

Well...I have actually seen here on mylot someone asking how to get a job in the US without papers - a job for an illegal immigrant! What amazes me is how bold people can be about it!

They're bold because few people will stand up and yell. I refuse to keep this kind of thing to myself. It's just wrong!
