India Will be a World Power

What is you opinion about this. In 21st century all eyes are on India and China. Being a democratic nation most of the people think that india will overtake the race and will be a world super power in next 20-30 years.

India will sure become the great nation ,but not sure whether be the world power,there still exist many torbles in india.as i know ,the road ,the power industry,the telecom...it is still not enough.and,besides,whether your country have any limit to the population or not?

What you are telling is true but when more and more finding start to come to india i think it will change the scenario. Now a days multi national companies are opening their units here not only in cities but in the small town and villages also. so if we provide land/power and water to these MNC then will take care about the infrastructure developments.

I think india should pay their attention to develop their own industry,not just depend on others,other country,even the allied nation won't let you to master to high technology.I believe it is the key to become the world power.

India had developed/developing technologies which are not in our hand or forbidden to india by the world. Most important are space, nuclear, super computer etc.

Can you tell me what are your basis in India to become a super power in the next 20 years or so, what are the signs that you can say that you're more powerful than the aisan powerhouse China? Can you build suspension bridges, do you have the best computer facility, are your railways already state-of-the art? Is poverty somehow taken care of, what are your statistics that could show your country has more number of rich people over the poor or atleast balanced? Only then will I believe that any Asian nation can over-power China, even at war United States has no match in terms of China's number of foot soldiers.

There's no difference on that terms even here in my country, many of your people even migrate here to enjoy the life they don't and can't enjoy there in you homeland..

India already is a world power! India as I understand it is a democracy but is still heavely influenced by the caste system. I expect india to have a technology boom in the next 4-5 years very much like thailand. That is if world polotics changes things !

We hope for the best. A democrcy without dicipline is state of affairs of the day. In 1970s when petrol price was hiked by 100% there was no hue and cry.But 2% hike attracts political strom. You have predicted 20-30 years considering our political system, I suppose. Inspite of all environment huddles we face, our country will definetely reach the heights due to hard labour of our youngsters and peace loving people.
