Sebunnya was abandoned in the wild at an early age, nurtured by monkeys, rescued four years later and slowly inducted into human life .The monkeys so loved the boy that they picked him, reared him like one of their own. That is the story of John Sebunnya, the little Ugandan boy who was discovered twenty years ago, towards the end of the bush war, living in the jungles of Bombo among a tribe of monkeys. Today he plays a guiter and jokes about life!

This is an interesting story. There are a number of stories like this one where children were raised by wild animals. There was the twins Romulus and Remus. The founders of Rome were supposed to be raised by a she wolf. They were supposed to be the sons Mars and priestess Rhea Silvia. Then there was Tarzan Raised by apes, and Mowli of India raised by wolves too. These are fiction but there were stories of other children raised by wild animals too. There is quit a list of real children being raised by various animal on Wikipedia Any thing from goat and cattle to monkeys and wolves. Thank you for starting this discussion

You see, animals like monkeys are so nice to human beings. I really feel touched by this news you mentioned here that the little boy was burtured by the monkeys, yet we humans are sometimes so cruel to animals. I do hope to see a very harmonious relationship between humans and animals.
I feel happy for Sebunnya that he can return to human life where he is supposed to and he is living as normal life as we do wihtout being influenced too much by his way of life with the caring and cute monkeys. Thanks for your discussion, academic friend.
