Of course as every woman does, I have looked at dresses, and places, and have gathered other wedding ideas. But when should I start purchasing and putting down payments on things?? I am planning on starting in January or early February. I want to make sure that I get what I want, so when would be the right time to make sure that I do?

the best advice i can give you is dont do what most folks do plan for a beautifull weding and do nothing to plan for the life after ,in my oppinion this is one reason so many mariages fail you and your future partner need to talk about what is important in your lives after ,do you want children where will you live how will you manage finances ect

i think i would shop around for halls (for the reception) pretty soon. i have heard of halls being booked at the very least a year in advance. if you start soon, you will get a lot more choice than if you leave it for a long time.
