If you had a flat, would you be able to change it yourself or try and flag someone down to help you if you were alone?Did you ever have to use your spare tire at one time? What was the flat caused from?

Your very lucky that you can do it yourself rather than asking someone to help do it.I know how to change a tire but am very small and they are too tight for me,but someone here told me to get a 4 way bar and stand on one of the bars while tugging on the opposite. So i will be buying one soon, hehehe.:)

Yeah, I know how to change my tire. I get out of the car, look completely at a loss for what to do, then wait for some guy to come fix it for me. ;-)
Seriously, I think I could if I had to, but I really wouldn't want to.
I took drivers ed in highschool (way back when) and we were shown how to change a tire. I have the basic idea.
I did get a flat once and fortunately it was after leaving a batting practice from my daughers softball team. I had the entire team behind me when it happened, so a couple of the dads did it for me. :-)
That's the only time that I can remember my tire going completely flat immediately.
I've had a lot of screws or nails in my tire which cause slow leaks but I was able to get home before the tire was too low.

I know how to handle and manage flat tire if it happen to my car. Because in my country, one part of test or exam that I must pass despite theory test, before driving license issued to me is about handle and manage flat tire, alone.
There are many factors that could cause this thing happen; air inlet valve, tire tube(for non-tubeless tire type), sharp object, tear and wear, extreme internal temperature, under pressure tire and sabotage.
