It is nice to be home for a family gathering during the long National Day holiday. This is a time for many people who work away from their hometown to get a chance to go home for the holiday. You must have a lot of fun with your boyfriend fishing, shopping, cooking big meals.

yes,you are right!
we had a good time being together with my family members.it is a good chance for me to be back home.to be honest,there's been nearly one year i haven't gotten home.i had a homesick seriously.that is no wonder i enjoyed so much.

I am really happy for you to have enjoyed your holidays at home as you are so homesick. I can usderstand that nowadays in China there are so many people working in different places faraway from their hometown for a better life. It is very natural for people to miss their hometow and their family a lot as they don't have enough chance and time to go home for a visit. Thanks for your further response, lisa.

Hi lisa_wxy!National-day holiday is really a good occasion for family union.I went to visit my grandmother with my younger sister this time.She is already eighty-five years old but she is still quite active.She asked me to take my boyfriend to see her next time,haha.And I said ok,maybe during the new year festival:-)
