Okay sometime ago I did my first bold attempt of being an a$$ by singing Clocks on SingSnap...Ladies and gentlemen...presenting another attempt at my singing skills. I plan to redo this one too, but this might be as good as it gets..LOL...Recorded this around 3:30 in the morning...It's Nickelback's "If Everyone Cared"--there were some minor recording breaks..uh, not my fault, but SingSnaps

Sounds great Pye! Those breaks though get a bit annoying. I wonder what happened on their part LOL :)

Next time I record it, I'll have the genuine song as in the background...I found a way to do that...have one browser open with the iTunes and another browser open for singsnap...

Thanks hoghoney...What amazes me..I was puttering around listening to other people's songs.. I keep coming across this woman..an elderly woman whose has her real photo as her avatar..she must be at least 80...I swear...and she happily sings away...uh, not well...LOL..her timing is completely off, doesn't have a great voice, but I guess she just doesn't care..she's having fun...and I guess that's what it's all about. Having fun

I didn't know about the site,it's so nice.I admire your couarege....I know many people can do and like karaoke,but I'm not one of them for sure.The meaning of my name is the bird *Nightingale*YES this with the best voice from all birds.I have terrible voice so even if I'm not a shy person caring this name and singing with my voice is not good idea at all lol:

I only started getting into the karaoke thing and I have to admit I'm hooked now..I'm always singing around the house while cleaning...so thought heck, give it a try..

Thank you recycledgoth...I love Evanescence's music too and would love to sing their songs, but I in no way have the range to sing it.. :(

I thought that was very nice, pyewacket! I only wish I was more confident like you. I have been told that I have a nice singing voice, but I keep it mostly to myself, lol. I am still trying to muster up the courage to actually do a song one day.

Wow I totally didn't know about this site - I'm going to try it myself - well I prolly need a mike but - eventually. I will listen to you on hubby's pewter later. He has to look at my speakers as they're curently not working.

Same here - I will check it out on the other computer tomorrow. I will send a link when I sing something - I have to assume I need a microphone though - unless I call a number and sing into a phone - lol.

You sure are brave. I will have to try myself when my husband is out of the house. He does not like classical singing and I am terrible at popular.
I was told that I should open my mouth longer. That could be the same with you. If you keep your mouth open just a little bit, you can hear the sound inside your head, but to others, you are singing quietly. If you open your mouth so that you can put two fingers in it, you will think you are singing quite weak, but others can really hear you.

Well, now that I've checked you singsnap, I can tell you that I got lost there. I've been tied to it for at least the last 4 hours!!!! It's really a fun time! I loved it. I heard a lot of great talent around the place, including YOU! Now I see what keeps you going back. I may be lost for a few days...
