As most my friends here know I do a lot of gardening and love taking photos of my garden as well. I have various flowers, shrubs, vegetables, and 2 apple trees, grapes, etc. Now that the growing season in Minnesota is done I miss all my fruits of my labor. Hahahaha. Anyhow today I was searching through old photos of my garden products and came across this photo. I think it;s a great shot. I now have this as a wallpaper on my computer today. I change that a lot with photos I have taken. So what do ytou think of this shot? Do you take many photos? Do you add many to your discussions at all? Do you use your own photo(s) as your desktop wallpaper? Please share all.

I do always enjoy seeing your photo's. It gives me a sense of knowing you on a more personal level I guess. I find it very interesting. That apple photo is very nice. You do take very good photos. I used to take a lot of pictures, but mostly of family and friends. I haven't been going out much and there certainly isn't much going on in my back yard that would warrant a picture being taken lol! I guess I will have to embark on a photo journey one of these days!

Thank you very much. I love letting people get to know me more on a personal level here by adding photos etc. That's the main reason I have always used a photo of me as my avatar. Thanks for the compliment on my photo taking abilities also. I take a lot each and every day. Sometimwes I take a dozen or more of one shot till I get that perfect shot I think it is.

That is great that you take so much care and thought into taking the photo's and making them available to us. It shows that you really care about what you are writing and posting. I think that is fantastic.

Nahhh not really a lot. My yards are about twice the normal yard size is all. Next year mny lawn will be snaller as I plan on planting more in the back yard. HAHAHAHA! Thanks also.

HI Grandpa how are you today?
I love taking pictures too using only my cellphone coz I don't have any digital cameras. But I love to take pictures of mine with my children and my dog.
Specially when my dog poses her favorite style. But sometimes I did not add pictures in some of my discussion coz my computer is running so very slow. I used our family pictures as my desktop wall paper.

I am doing great. Dad is still so-so I guess. I have dial up and it
is slow uploading photos but I still do it as I am here all day anyhow. Hahahaha! I couldn't do without my digital camera now that I am a member here. Hee hee!!

Its a nice picture and the apple is so cute,I guess it must be very tasty,hehe.To be frank,I am not good at taking photos and I seldom use my digital camera.Its only for traveling and business related occasions:-)But I used a picture of my boyfriend and I as my avatar here in mylot,haha.Happy posting and have a good day!

wow that looks like a scrumptious apple there,i would love to have one lol.i think its a great shot and yes i change my pictures all the time too on my computer,and most of the time i will try to put a picture for my discussions.i love to switch all the time especially pictures of my kids on my desk top too.hope you are doing well and your father.pattie

Thanks. I also change my desktop picture daily. Some days I will use
a few different pictures. One huge ever changing picture frame I say.

The photo looks great GP Bob, congrats too for being able to grow such a nice looking and delicious to eat apples;)
I rated it and placed a comment of course:)
And yes, I take many photos almost daily, but have none of fruits... so it might be a great idea to start taking some:) And I do upload many to my own and to other people's discussions too, but never use these as wallpaper as wallpapers slow the computers speed and i can't have that, working most of the time on it and having 10-15 screens open;)

That's a good looking apple there. You took a great picture. I take lots of pictures but I don't add a lot of them to my posts. I take pictures of my son and use them as my wallpaper. I change them every once in a while.

I like this photo a lot. It is a pretty red apple and looks about perfect. I used to have an apple tree that would bear little yellow apples with spots all over them. I wonder why they would get all those spots? Nice photo!

I do like to take photos...often of my son!:)
We have our computer set up that we have a personal picture as wall paper as well as a screen saver.
I am waiting for my 500th post so that I can try adding photos to my discussions!

I add photos when I remember to add them or if they are asked for. :) I do use my own photos as my desktop wallpaper, too. Well, and a few of yours I've downloaded as well. What's really great, is I have all my photos in my screensaver, too! So I just get them all the time.
Speaking of which, it's probably time to change my profile photo. :)

I do that myself...I take my photos and use it as my desktop screensaver/wallpaper...Since it's the Halloween season, I changed my usual photo I had of a catbird and put up one of my Halloween pictures...after that I'll put up a fall scene, and as it gets nearer to Thanksgiving, will have that...
Here's the one I have as a screensaver/wallpaper now...on my computer I have it in the "tile" mode--All my photos now have my copyright watermark on them now...

I love that photo. I use some of mine as screensavers also at times. But I don't have my puter on usually when Im not online. I turn it off a lot for some reason. That is a HUGE watermark though. HAHAHAHA! rated and commented on the photo also.

It sure is a great shot. It makes me want to run to the store to buy apples...lol. I'm sure they wouldn't be as good as that one though. I take a lot of pictures, mostly of my granddaughter and now my new puppy plus the items I sell on mylot and other auction sites.
