Guys what do you say?? Sachin has done a marvelous job for india. He is such a great player and he has been responsible for so many victory for india. Well, i guess after he retires, he should become the batting coach for india. May be he can take a break from cricket after a retires but should come back as the batting coach for india. What do you guys think?

I agree with you. But the question is that does Sachin think so? Some day he is going to retire and if he agrees to serve the Indian cricket as a coach nobody would be against it. We all know that our senior cricketers like Sunil Gawaskar, Ravi Shashtri has refused to work as a coach... They served as a coach only for sometime and right from the begining the had made it very clear that they were giving their services only as a emergency case. Will Sachin accept the job of a coach?

I think it will be great to have Sachin as our batting coach since he is the one who doesn't shy away from giving advices to youngsters but i guess we have gone too far since he still has some years in him to play .

I feel that sachin tendulkar should be a batting coach now itself, as he should retire now itself, considering his form and the way he is batting now, he should retire and start coaching!

sounds good! but i always believed that genius people are poor at guiding normal people simply because its not easy for normal people to emulate a natural genius like sachin tendulkar. I'm really amazed what is he going to do once he get retired, but again i dont see him getting retired form cricket for atleast next 3-4 years, may be he will have a go at the next world cup aswell!

He's one of the greatest batsman in the cricket. But I don't think,he's able to make any other equally great. Also,it depends on one's wish.Sachin, himself did very hard work.Ofcourse, his coach should be given some credit but I think, everyone, knows how much sachin has dedication for cricket. So,even if becomes coach, until and unless,he finds a guy like him,he can't be successful. Cheers -AV

yes why not...sachin is a fantastic player, world renowned and always keeps his cool. you are a ood coach when you keep your cool. why do you think he is soo composed in his 90's.because he keeps his cool. you may say he gets out in the 90's often but it is just by fluke, but he reached his 90's because he can keep his cool. for now i think he should continue to make as many 100s and when he feels it is right to hang his boots up at the end of the day, he can look forward to being a batting coach. not so soon for now since i still see alot of cricket in him
