Pregnant and counting the days

I have just hit 39 1/2 weeks of pregnancy. I know that I am not full term, but I think I may lose it if my baby does not come and meet us soon. I was on bed rest from 33 weeks to 37 weeks, so we were expecting an early arrival. However, now the doctor says there has been no progress since the start of bed rest. I am thankful that the baby will definitely be much healthier now that he/she will not be premature, but my patience is growing thin. I have not been allowed to work for 6 1/2 weeks now and am too tired to get a lot done around the house. Anyways, is there any advice anyone has or experiences you could share? If not, for fun, any guesses to arrival date or gender? My official due date is October 15th.

God gave us a loving baby daughter a couple of years ago. But before I delivered her into this world, I knew that our baby's gender is female even before I went through the ultrasound during my seventh month pregnancy. This was through the aid of the Chinese calendar. A male or a female baby is okay for us not only because we are really anticipating for a baby more than a year after our marriage, but also because this is our first baby. My husband and I want to have 2 kids, a girl and a boy. Until now, we only have one child; and if God willing, we are planning to have our second child within the next two years; hopefully a boy. And again, I'm seeking the aid of the 98% accurate Chinese calendar. A lot of my officemates have done this, too. I very much would like to help you on the gender of your baby but I just possibly can't because I don't know your age. I could deduce the first month of your baby in your womb; actually I guess it's February 2007. But if you could e-mail me or send me a private message regarding your age, I could reply and tell your baby's gender. And if you wish to have a second baby, I could also e-mail you a copy of the Chinese calendar. God bless and take a lot of care.

I was always told that walking helps the babby along. At this point your baby would not be a premie. All my children were about a week early. You are so veryy close to haveing that baby good luck and as some one else said let us know what you have

i know how you feel. its like every seconds counts and every minute stretches just waiting for the baby to come out. i also had that feeling when i was having my first child, though i had a normal pregnancy, at the time i've reached the 8 month, i wished the baby to come out since it was getting bigger and heavier each day. But just hang on, its only a few days to go and your on your final days, just stay patient and enjoy your quiet solitude for once the baby is out its another challenging chapter. Sleep the most while you can because they baby will eat up your precious sleeping time once his out. CONGRATS EEB on your baby.

I was on bed rest for both of my children. I'm a tiny person and they just wanted to come out early. You only have a couple more days, so take this time and get some good rest. That lovely baby will be up all night long. Your baby will be healthy. So enjoy the next couple days, after that, have fun. LOL
