As usual.I have way too many stokes in the fire, lol, but I enjoy being busy with many ideas, my closest project to completion right now, is a collection of poetry.I have two novels begun and many ideas not yet to paper or pixel.I sometimes wish there were more hours in a day.

This seems to be a common complaint with writers, and I thought it was just me! Good luck on your projects!

I am writing a story about my grandparents, when they met how they got engaged and then he was drafted into the service. Thinking he would be home soon but then one month into training Pearl Harbor got hit and WWII started. He didn't come home for 4 years and they were married with in 7 days. I have all the letters my grandpa wrote my grandma and his history from the war. The inbetween and ask them a lot of questions and some is made up, but for the most part it is a true story. I am sure it will take me awhile though. I have a lot of info to go through and make sure it is correct. I have had a few poems published on Poetry.com but nothing else. I haven't tried though either. I don't really know the best way to do things. I am scared and don't want to be taken advantage of.

Learn by doing! Your story sounds great and I'm sure it will make great reading. Writers, actors, models and other creative people often end up working for free. That's just how you hone your craft and get your name out there. It's sad but it's true. Don't let worries about being taken advantage of stop you from publishing. If you write a novel though, go to a literary agent. That's the best way to get it shopped around.

I am working on my present novel. I have another that I put aside for while, and I have another work at I am debating whether to make it into either a long short story or a short novel, but what will happen is that I will probably make it a novel. I have on article published in our church's women's magazine. I have an article on the Hub, and on Gathering. I am not that good at articles, and so am concentrating mostly on fiction, but I do not have that much time in the day. I work inside my home, and if I worked outside, there would be no time, but I have to make money for those blasted stamps I need to send my work off to the various publishers or agents. I want to have my novel published, and as well as that, write sequels for it.

Blasted stamps! Ha! Wow, you're pretty busy! I'm better at articles than fiction, although I have a fictional novel in the works. Thanks for your comment!

currently i am not working on much writing. i have gotten a part time job and find that i dont have much time to write other than that and squeeze some time into mylot. i am also helping my hubby in his job hunt, so that seems to take quite a bit of my time as well. i hope to do some work on a few things soon tho.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I work full time, model, I'm in grad school and then there's my son and boyfriend. Still a voice inside keeps telling me (nagging really) that I'm supposed to write something really awesome.

I keep meaning to get on Yuwie, but I use MySpace for modeling, so it would really just be for the money and not networking. Good luck with your blog and referrals!

The only items I currently have published are articles at this present time. They are online and the link to see them would be http://www.associatedcontent.com/user/83194/bruce_bostwick.html for the one's on Associated Content. The ones on Helium will probably be a direct link at this time as I am still new to the place. Here they are at this moment. Mostly I write a lot of opinion-related articles. http://www.helium.com/tm/638197/think-myself-about-cleveland http://www.helium.com/tm/628776/facts-brand-extension-around http://www.helium.com/tm/628697/beginning-video-characters-division http://www.helium.com/tm/628386/honest-nintendo-never-about Current project I am also working on is a short story called The Vampire Devil's Legend. I want it to make very interesting and if it did become a game, I would hope to have input and probably think it would be best as a fighting game. You'll have to read it when I get it published. Not sure when that will be but if it goes well, I have at least two more with it and make it a trilogy. If it ever did become a movie (don't know procedure on it), it should be animated or in CG but that's another story. I want to complete the book ASAP and hopefully have it turn out rather well.

I'm on Helium too. I've had tons of school work though, so I haven't been able to write as much for that as I'd like. The vampire story sounds pretty compelling. Good luck!
