I was watching tv in that i say 1 add of kid & his mom calls him in his nick name.& I began to think when i will hv kid what shall i call him/her.I thought & thought but i didnt get any name in my mind which is unique I was getting the only common names.so i thought why dont i try to ask mylotters.I think i will get help here. Its so nice to call kids in cute nick names. It shows the love of the parents on kids calling them in nick names sometimes unknowing that name comes & it fits to that kid.The kids also likes its nick name when others call them in this name. I have one example my cousine's daugther was 4yrs when her sis born she was fat, this girl called her hummty dummty & from then that baby got the name dummpty now it is 6yrs every one in our family calls her dummty. So what is ur kids nick name? How did that name come to your kids?

My Daughters Nickname is simple. we call her "B" tnothing more than the letter B (pronounced Bee) Her name is Briana. Now, this nickname also spawned more nicknames for her all starting with "B" or some variation of anotehr nickname like: Bee-Bop, Beezer, Bop, Beezy...We have a lot fun with it

I love looking through baby book of names all the time. But in the end I make sure not to name a baby after anything or anyone I associate bad thoughts or feelings toward. Also, it has to sound right. and when you look that baby in the face what name feels right. Ah babies!! GOD is so good.

Our oldest daughters nick name is hannah banana. pretty easy to figure that one out. when she was little i called her boog. not sure why just started calling her that. our youngest daughter is called moochy by her pap because she always mooches bites of everyones food. we usually call her rotten. lol. our newest addition is the only boy and he looks so grown up already at 2 months so we call him little man.

I am the opposite of you. I am not a big fan of nicknames. I named my children Andrew, Nicholas, Taylor and Katelyn. Andrew was called Andrew until he hit middle school. Then some new friends started calling him Andy. They would call the house and at first I would tell them that they had the wrong number. I didn't do it on purpose, but noone had ever called him Andy before. Now all his friends call him Andy but his family still calls him Andrew. I call my son Nicholas either Nick or Nicky. I am the only one who is allowed to call him Nicky, but others do call him Nick. Taylor is 13 and we just started calling him Tay. And Katelyn is either Katelyn or Kate~ not Katie.

Well we used to call my daughter Chip. My stepfather named her because she was overdue and when she was taken from me she looked all chipped up and was stripping, hence the name. I have to stop calling her that name because she no longer finds it amusing and people make fun of her that they will use her instead for their digicel phones. When I want to annoy her I call ner by that name. Otherwise she is baby or swetheart.
