I'm fairly good for that and quite familiar with that device. The bearing functions and calculations by using sin, cosine and tangent. Need to know one bearing value with the precision to the degree, minute and second unit value add up with one linear distance, I can calculate the value distance for the rest and the remaining value angles. Sin = Opposite/Hypotenuse Cosine = Adjacent/hypoteneuse Tangent = Opposite/adjacent.
