used to have the recipe and now it is lost. I remember that it has yeast, milk, oil and eggs, and you didn't have to boil the pretzels. Anyone that has a recipe that is similar, I would love it if you posted it!! If not, any recipe for BIG SOFT PRETZELS that is good and easy would work. Can't wait to get responses on this one

meholl you said you found a recipe for making your own big soft pretzels if you could be so kind i would loveeeeeeeeee to have the recipe. i love to bake and i have never been able to find a recipe for them pretzels. that was my major craving when i was pregnant with my baby girl and i spent a small fortune buying them in a box of 6 in the frozen section of the grocery store.

So if you visit my profile, you will see the recipe for Big Soft Pretzels that doesn't have to be boiled. And they are worth the effort.

yum on nice big soft warm pretzels - I am sorry that the only recipes I have seen for them call for the pretzels to be boiled first... which is why I guess I have never ventured to making them from scratch myself... same with bagels.

I've never tried making these but maybe I'll give it a shot. I love pretzels. I've heard there are places in New York where you can buy these big soft pretzels...so maybe it's something I'd like. I hope there's a good recipe for them. **AT PEACE WITHIN** ~~STAND STRONG IN YOUR BELIEFS~~

oh they are really good - the kids absolutely like them. hopefully by revitalizing this discussion there will be someone new to notice it and give the recipe we desire to have!
