my youngest sister gave birth to her second child yesterday at 3:40pm, October 10, 2007. My mom said the baby is a little darling angel but she loves to cry.^__^;; she weighs 7.2 lbs and my sister gave birth to her through ceasarian. i cant wait to get home and hold the baby! (im still at work.) my mother suggested the name Loyalty since it was Loyalty Day in our town yesterday. But i said it sounded old LOL and we should think of another. I suggested - Claudia Lily or Sophia Grace What do you think guys?? which one is better? or do you have any suggestions??Here is her picture:

Congratulations! I do not think Loyalty is a good name. The other kids are going to tease her when she gets big enough. I think Sophia Grace is quite nice. Oh and the picture did not upload. You might have to resize it and make it smaller.

That's awesome secretbear. I too like Sophia Grace. The origins of those names is an excellent reason for that choice. I hope you get home soon so you can hold the little bundle of joy. ‹(°¿°)›

Hey. See if you can get your sister to name her daughter Kate. If you know what I mean. Just kidding. LOL ‹(°¿°)›

Yeah I can understand why you haven't held her yet. It must be tearing you apart. You will soon. I like the name Sophia Grace also but Chelsea Sophia is a beautiful name. You know why I said Kate don't you? I could have said Sun but that would be too obvious. At least I didn't say Juliet or Rousseau. He he. lol ‹(°¿°)›

Thank you for sharing your glad tidings. Usually I would say listen to your mother, but not this time. Loyalty would be a terrible name to force a cute little girl to endure. Also, every day I thank my lucky stars that I was not born with the name Grace because graceful is just one thing I am not! But it is a pretty name and if it fits the personality of the baby it would be fine--it is just hard to tell when they are so young. Too bad it is not the custom to give children temporary names to use until they are old enough to choose their own. If she is a darling little angel, how about Angela? Did you know that the parrents.com web site not only has a baby name finder but a little personality test to help people choose a name that best suits the parents. Sounds a bit odd to me as I think the name should fit the child, not the parents, but whatever makes them happy...

LOL looks like my sister disobeyed my mother. ^__^;; the baby's name is chelsea sophia. its cute but I still think sophia grace is much better. grace wouldn't mean graceful in this case. it would mean God's graces and blessings. ^__^ anyway, at least they used sophia. I'm hoping the baby will learn a lot of wisdoms when she grows up. LOL angela is a very nice name but I think its very common. its so ordinary to think that all babies look like an angel since they really do so angela would always pop into mind. ^__^;; I wanted something unique so I jumble up some names I like. I actually didn't like grace too because its very common here, but it sounded nice with sophia so I suggested it. ^__^

Chelsea Sophia is a BEAUTIFUL name! Much more mellifluous than Grace! Your sister made a wonderful choice and surely your little niece will love her grandma, but still thank your sister every day of her life that she got a beautiful feminine name instead of the one her grandma chose.

Oh Congradulations! You're so lucky! My oldest sister is pregnant, her baby is due in March! :) It's a boy. I wanted it to be a girl, but at least he's healthy! I like the name Sophia or Grace. Honestly I don't like them together, but I think either one of them would be good alone! :)

Congratulations to your sis! I'm sure the entire family is really enjoying this moment. :) I think that Sophia Grace is a beautiful name. Though Loyalty is a more unique option. Loyalty also sounds good. Anyway, whatever name is given to the new member of the family it doesn't matter as long as she's healthy and every one loves her dearly.

Congratulations! Does she look like you? In our culture, people always said that there is a high possibility that niece may looks like her auntie.Do you notice that? About the name,do you have any particular meaning in your recommendations? If not,I like Claudia lily.

But one of my cousins said she's got my nose. i doubt that though. ^__^;; well, only sophia grace has a meaning. sophia for wisdom and grace for blessings. claudia lily doesnt have any meaning. i just like the sound of it. ^__^ thanks tujia!

Hi secretbear! :) I also love the name "Lalaine" for a baby girl. :) And ei, congratulations to your dearest sister! I know how tough it is to give birth through ceasarian - my mom always reminds me about this because the 3 of us (her children) were born through ceasarian. :) Another blessing and another gift to your family. Let's celebrate! :) take care and God bless!

thanks sr0415! ^__^ my sister actually preferred to deliver on caesarian because she was having a hard time in delivering the baby normally since it weighed 7.2 lbs. i still can see that her tummy is still big and she isnt moving much. i guess that really hurts. ^__^

Sophia Grace, hands down! It's a beautiful name that a female would be proud to have. Sounds like she has healthy lungs! I had a c-section and your sister is going to be sore for awhile. No doubt, when she looks at her precious baby the surgery won't feel so bad! Congratulations Auntie Secretbear!
