Bonjour!
Avon is family. My mom, a nurse and the jack of all trades, started business with them while still in college. Learning that she cannot be productive with many different products from selling to being agent to being employed, she resigned and concentrated selling AVON products. Our place being in the mountainside, she travels for 7 hours just to get orders and additional products to sell. 5 hours to Baguio City and another 2 hours to Dagupan. She is determined that selling AVON to people in our locality will better our finances. Carrying loads of Avon products, she walked miles just to bring products to different municipalities and towns in our province. Hard work pays! After several years, she was able to buy a new lot and was able to built a home for us. I was in elementary when we had our own house. She always leaves us home and at times to her parents or siblings to be able to do business. Sacrifices, pains, sweat, and the determination that she had, paid! Additional years and she was able to buy her own cars, another property in Baguio City. I went to college in Baguio City, 4 to 5 hours away from home (that time roads are still bumpy), living with my grand parents because we don't have our own place at the city. After two years, I moved to our new built house, another project my mom was able to do. Wow! I finished and graduated college with the financial support of my mom's earnings with Avon. My mom allowed me to be employed because I didn't appreciate selling or being part of Avon. Finishing in a very good university and having earned a degree, I thought it would be degrading. My belief paid me no good. I was depressed building a career and had no savings from an employment. After 3 years, I talked to my mom if she can let me help her manage her business (that time, she had 3 Avon boutique). She said that she is glad if that will happen. She just don't want to ask me because I always want things my way.
I started my trainings and started learning business with the company. At first, I was helping her built her Avon network. Learning the business well, my mom asked me to built my own network. I went for it, whew! Hard at first. Small earnings, I thought. Well, I have to do it! I started sharing and talking about Avon to anybody and everywhere I go. Now, I got better earnings than my past employments.
My mom is currently at the executive sales leadership level and I am at unit leadership level. Before the year ends, my goal is to be at the advance unit level. We have separate networks and teams of franchise dealers, Avon is truly a family.
Indeed, the hard work that my mom showed and taught me pays.
Fellows at myLot, how about you? Share me your Avon adventures. Or share me any hard work experiences that you had, share your success. I love to learn from hard working fellows.
Spread the love!

Hello there. I am also in the Avon family. Not quite a full year yet. I love everything that has to do with it. The meeting people, and giving them something that they love. I don't think I would ever leave, I like it too much. It's also another way to make some new friends.
Congrats on your success, and your determination. You will definately go far. I wish you the best of luck!!!
