Two people, one animal, any place you want

The other day in class I was posed the following question: If you could invite any two people dead or alive and any animal to a gathering at a place of your choice who would you invite, which animal would you bring and where would you go? Initially, I decided on a place along the river in the town that I grew up in. Then, when thinking about the two people I would invite, they were two people that I think needed to resolve things between them and the animal was just relevant to those people and their situations. When finally I got around to thinking about myself and my own needs I decided that my gathering would still take place in that same special spot, but I would be the only person in attendance and my animal would be the cat that my sister was given growing up. She often slept on my bed and kept me company. I think my gathering would consist of me and Barbie lying in the long grass on the river bed spending time together and listening to the soothing rush of water. So now, I pose the same question to you: if you could invite any two people, and any animal to a gathering at a place of your choice, who would you invite, which animal would you bring and where would you go?
