sacrifice for a friend??????

what if you and your best friend,falls in love with a same guy?and you know that the guy has a feelings for you too, would you willing to sacrifice and give way to your best friend just for her to be happy? or continue to love the guy until you became lovers, but you know that your best friend will hurt a lot........

this thing happen to me... guess what it really hurts because they didnt tell me about this but i know life has to move on and i know that my friend is happy with him so i let them go

That is not a good situation to be in. I think that if the guy doesn't feel the same way for her as she does for him the relationship will not work anyhow. If he feels these feelings for you and you for him, then your friend may be hurt a little bit now, but I am sure she will be able to get over it. But if you lie to her about your feelings, and allow her to continue pursuing a relationship he will probably not want, then she will be upset when she finds out later that you were who he wanted.
