a couple of groups that are less mainstream include Combichrist and clan of xymox.
For mainstream, it really depends on my mood. I can watch Avril Lavigne, Faith Hill, Kelly Clarkson, or Shania Twain. Flip, I can watch Bush, Alice Cooper, AC DC, Marilon Manson, Nickleback, 3 days grace, 3 doors down, or Creed. All depends on my mood!

I really enjoy YOUTUBE for the same reason like you, when i want listen some music, i never go to make download, i just go to youtube and search. I listen music for China, USA, Brazil, Japan, Corea, sometimes India and other countries, i really think is very cool this tool, youtube is better than P2P to find musics of all the world. ^__^
