port forward port 80

i cant port forward port 80. i tried everything. i have a prolink h9200 modem/router. i want to forward port 80 to my pc. it will not go directly to my pc but to the router. help...

you have to make sure your pointing to the correct ip address. of the computer or it will not go. If your computer is set to DHCP mode everytime you reboot your computer the ip address can change. The best way is to have a fixed ip address on the computer you want it to goto.

yes its set to DHCP and the ip address that i want to go to is correct. it will not changed because its been "leased" i dont know what that is. when i try to connect to the computer using my public ip address all i get is the menu screen for my router..
