Hello there. I would like to ask which is the most touching movie you have watched before? For me, it has to be 'The Way Home'. It is a Korean movie. 'The Way Home' is a touching story about a spoiled city boy, SangWoo whose single mom falls on hard times. The mom has no choice but to ship the boy off to the rural mountain town where his grandma lives. The grandmother is a hunchback lady with serious osteoporosis from bending over low stoves all her life. She’s also mute and illiterate. Despite the physical limitations, she works diligently without complaining. Initially, the SangWoo treats his grandma with disrespect and apathy. He assumes she’s a country bumpkin because she’s unfamiliar with the trappings of the modern world. He tries to keep himself occupied with the things he brought with him from the city: his rollerblades, his toys, his Coca Cola and etc. However, after seeing all the sacrifices the gentle old woman makes for him, he soon learns some important lessons about love, kindness, selflessness and humility. I personally love this movie a lot. I was so touched by the movie that I kept crying non-stop. Bring some tissues if you watch this movie (It's a tearjerker!) and don’t forget to call your grandma afterwards to tell her you love her.

I always think people who like and enjoy romantic movies are romantic people. You must be a romantic person. =D I personally do not enjoy romantic movies that much, I guess I am not a romantic person. I prefer movies regarding kinship. Thanks for sharing. Take care.

The most touching movie i ever saw was pursuit of happyness. It was seriously a brilliant movie and Will Smith did a great job in the movie. Not only did he do well, also his son was there in the movie, playing the same role, and he was so cute and acted seriously well. The best part was the climax and throughout the movie he was fabulous.

The movie that touches me so much is The Notebook. I really love the story and everything. I don't get bored to watch it all over again. I watched it evert after 3-4 months. We have our own copy of it. Hubby loves it so much too. That movie connotes also a very wonderful memory on me and my husband because that is the movie we watched the night after our engagement.*smile*

Yes, you are right pooh! My husband is also very picky when it comes to touching movies. So far, it's The Notebook that catches his interest and feeling (LO). Oh, I remember now. When I was in college, my guys dormmates cried when they watched the movie "A Walk To Remember". They said it touches them. It was fun because they are the kind of guys who are nin school as tough ones, I mean they are good students but somehow show they are emotionless when it comes to sentimental matter. YOu know what I mean....*smile*

True indeed. Many people has given thumbs up for 'The Notebook'. I shall definitely try to get hold of it and watch it soon. I've watched 'my sassy girl' and '50 first dates' before. Both are good movies. They are romantic and funny. I was quite touched by both movies but I did not cry. I do not usually cry watching romantic films. I am usually more touched by films regarding kinship. As for 'Castaway', is it the one by Tom Hanks? I have not watched it yet. I shall try to find it too and then watch it. Thanks for the recommendation. Have a good weekend. =D

For me, the most touching movie I have seen may have been Pan's Labyrinth. I loved this movie, it was a little gruesome in some of the scenes but I found the plot line to be amazing. And it hit me as being on of the heavier movies but honest to every little girls imagination. Didn't you ever want to be a princess. Even though it was in Spanish, I think I will carry it with me as one of my favorite movies of all time, it touched my that deep. R.

Hello there. I watched Pan's Labyrinth before too. I agree with you that there are some scenes which are quite gruesome. To be frank, I am still confused about the movie. Is it the girl's imagination or it is real? The director did a great job in capturing the essence of this fairy tale. Thanks for sharing.

Straight of the top of my head, I would have to say GHOST featuring, Patrick Swayze, Demi Moore and Whoopi Goldberg. I haven't seen "The way home", but I love tear jerkers so I definitely look out for it at the Video Shop. Plus my partner gets a good laugh when he sees my cry as a result of a sad movie. I thing that if a movies touches you in that was that you become emotionally involved that you end up crying then all praise to the director!!!

Hi,there, For me the most touching movie I have ever watched is "rainman"and "A Beautiful Mind"(if I am allowed to write two movies ..haha)maybe is can called the most touching movie in english .Actually,I haven't watched so many movies in my daily life as I don't have so much time and it is hardly for me to calm my mind and watch some movies..Now I am in my vocation ,maybe can get some amount of time to watch some movies ;) I was really touched by the spirite of the actor who struggled with himself and in the end he conquered himself and made a great contribuation to the whole world when I was watching the movie"A beautiful mind" Just in this movie I learnt that “we can conquer everything if we can defeat ourselves”most of the time we have only one enemy~~that is ”ourselves“
