Online sales party?

I have used teleconferences, and webinars in my career for meeting with folks in different locations around the world, and for hosting seminars to people in different locations. i recently heard about using a web-based program to host sales parties - like tupperware parties, but online! just think, you can attend in your jammies and you don't have to leave home. What do people think of this? I am interested in trying it for my side business as a way to boost sales without asking people to attend a party. What do you think?

Yes I also am cnsidering that. I am infact building some 500 dollars to invest on it. Did you know you can have that for blow 300 USD with resell rights? It's cool. What system do you use. PM me to share this exchiting webminars.

I don't have my own system, per se. it's actually a website that sets up the whole experience, You pay a small fee to be able to host an event, and your attendees can sign on for free. It's similar to Webex.

I have heard of these online parties, but I haven't looked into them. I sell Home and Garden Party products, and that would be great if we could do an online party. I will have to check into it. I wonder what people would do if they don't wish to use their debit or credit cards online, use paypal maybe? I will have to look into this, thanks for bringing this into a discussion. Good luck with yours when you try it!

We could even try to get together to do on in conjunction. Our product lines are different - we could have an hour long party where you presented your products for 30 minutes, or played games, and then I could take over for 30 minutes. It could be fun, and we could build a larger audience for each other! It's a thought...
