Hey Everyone. Today I had the opportunity to sit in the library and prepare a research report on the trends of feminist counseling over the last thirty years. As I was researching, or making a list of like 30 call numbers of books related to feminism I discovered only 3 books covered feminist counseling. How is it that the entire library has a million books about feminism but only 3 books about feminist counseling that are based in the United States, well that didn't help! I need books about feminist counseling in Canada over the last thirty years... which is stretching it. So my question to you is: are you familiar with any good feminist counseling books based in Canada? Another question: Has anyone ever had an experience like that where they spend the entire day in the library researching a topic only to come up empty handed? Any helpful hints? Could use the help. Thanks r. The reason I didn't go online for research was that I thought the library would be the best place to look for resources from the last 20 to 30 years, guess I was wrong!

I would like to be helpful but I don't understand what feminist counseling is. Could you please explain about it a bit more or give an example of what it is about? :)
