have you ever donated blood?

A pretty yes for it and I had twice, firstly under my work place campaign and second time held at hypermarket. In Malaysia blood donor will be issued a merit card, so called, where on that card stated our personal details and blood donation history. Within one week after my donation session, I felt thirsty and noticed a bit higher temperature in my body. After that period, things back to normal. I plan for my third blood donation hopefully by 2010.

Hello downaalice!!! Good day to you...c",) Actually a just donated 450cc yesterday and i feel fine. Here in the company i work with has a yearly blood donation program done by REDCROSS... The staff of redcross visits our office once a year, an opportunity for us employees to donate blood for those who need it most. I've already done it twice and i have no regret of doing it, because i know somehow i've helped someone... About your question, i think it's safe if the person assisting you really knows what he/she is doing, and they are using sanitizers and individual needle for every person. And yes i heard too that it's good for us to donate...

I go to the Red cross to donate blood and I think it is safe there. I donated my blood often and I feel great afterwards. Never any problems. Many people in my neighborhood go when the Red Cross asks us, they take blood in the local school, it is a meeting point. After the donation we get a small meal there cost free and sit there and chat. Happy mylotting!

hello.. Actually donating blood is good for health.. i'm a regular donor here.. hehe.. No worries about infection as all blood banks and hospital will use new needles and will be sterilize b4 using it.. So it's safe ;)
